To attract buyers and sellers without spending any money on marketing, you need to start a blog, a Facebook page, a Twitter page, a Squidoo page, etc. These are methods rarely used by Dean Graziosi students, but are the most effective way of attracting potential clients to YOU! CTR — Click Through Rate — This number is a percentage of how many people actually click on your ad compared to how many time your ad was shown. For example, if your ad shows 100 times, and out of those 100 times, 2 people actually click on your ad, you would have a CTR rate of 2%.
CPC — Cost Per Click — This is how much you are paying every time someone clicks on your ad. Your goal should be to have your CPC at $0.80 or less for each keyword. Conversion Rate – This is the percentage of people that go to your website AND fill out the opt-in form on your page.
Impressions — This is how many times your ad was shown in search results.
Avg. Pos — Average Position — This is your average position in the Google search results. Your goal is to remain between positions 4 to 7. Any higher, and you are wasting money on “click happy” people who aren’t serious. Any lower, and you may not be receiving enough views or your ad.
Ad Group — An Ad or group of ads with relevant keywords in it.
Keyword — This is what people type into the Google search bar when they do a search on Google. For example, “business” could be a keyword. “Start a business” can also be referred to as a keyword (even though it’s more than 1 word). Keywords with more than one keyword can also be referred to as “Keyword Phrases”, but are most commonly referred to as “keywords.” Perry Marshall – The most trusted Google Adwords expert.

Being recognized as the Spotlight Member for September 2009 is quite an honor! Thank you very much to all of you in the leadership: I couldn’t have gotten to where I am today without all the incredible tools, training and support that you continue to provide us with.
A few words about my background: I grew up in a small town in northern Norway, above the Arctic Circle, but always had this burning desire to leave my country and everything that was safe and familiar, travel the world, and explore all that life had to offer. (Back in my hometown everyone thought I was a little weird, as you can well imagine!)
At 22 I moved to California to study acting and to fulfill my life-long dream of working in Hollywood. Although I loved life on set and was able to make a decent living for myself in film and TV, I always felt like there was something else I was supposed to do, something more. Finally, a decade later and after some misadventures in traditional MLM, I stumbled upon PRO in the spring of 2008. And with that began an entirely new chapter in my life.
Whenever I’m asked about the secret to getting results in online marketing, my answer is always that there IS no secret. Results come from hard work. From patience and persistence. From staying the course, continuously honing your skills, always keeping a great attitude and choosing to grow in the face of adversity, celebrating every progress be it ever so small, living each day with gratitude, developing a passion for your craft and a vision of what you want to do with your life beyond just “making money”. Never ever, ever entertaining the thought of giving up. And whenever you’re at the end of your rope, you tie a knot and you hang on.
Someone said that “success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out”, and I think that perfectly describes my journey.
I also believe that the truly great results won’t come until you learn to take the focus off of yourself and start being more concerned about how you can best serve others. Do that and you will never run out of customers…guaranteed!

Many students today are struggling between keeping a traditional job and going to school, so it’s no surprise that many of these same students are turning to the internet to find ways to make money online. The internet holds an untold number of ways for any student to make money online, with little to no monetary investment, and a schedule which fits your needs, not the other way around. This is what makes working online so appealing for many college students who are looking to earn income, or supplement their existing income by working for themselves. One of the best ways for college students to earn money online is through affiliate marketing. Because it’s just promoting products and others take care of all of the hassle, many students find it a stress-free way to earn a living while still attending school full-time. Customer service and shipping and handling are all handled by the manufacturer, so this leaves the student more time to promote the product without having to worry about providing it, buying it, or even shipping it. A great website which offers this type of service is ClickBank. Students can sign up at ClickBank and once their account has been created, a list of products is provided in which to browse through. There are a wide array of products available, anything from eBooks to toaster ovens. Visiting the merchant’s original website can also be a good source of tools used to promote the product, as many merchants provide affiliate tools such as articles and banners which can help drive traffic and make the sales. Many students feel comfortable promoting products which they themselves would find useful, so printing flyers to advertise around campus is a very real possibility when other students are likely to find the product interesting as well. Aside from that, advertising on Facebook and MySpace is also a way to expose family and friends to the product. Affiliate marketing typically pays anywhere from 50%-75% of the product sell price in commission, so for each sale you directly drive, you’re getting a healthy amount back for doing nothing but being a great salesperson! Because of this high commission rate, most students find affiliate marketing to be the easiest, and quickest way to make money online. Of course there are scams in Internet marketing. It’s okay to pay for an e-book, instructional video, or perhaps a monthly membership but be leery of any programs which require more than a few hundred dollars. Membership sites can be tricky. Read the terms of service very carefully for how to cancel and how much will be charged on a monthly basis. Some sites almost try to hide how much you’ll be paying by only divulging it in their terms of service.
